Education & Outreach Specialist (Communications & Digital Marketing)

Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, Inc. is seeking a full-time dynamic Education and Outreach Specialist to join our team.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage social media platforms, community outreach programs, and overall marketing efforts
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in digital marketing
  • Responsible for content management and execution via social media outlets, to include LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, newsletters, email blasts, fliers, presentations, educational and advocacy materials, managing and designing the company website, and other recommended and approved outlets
  • Coordinate and organize staff resource lists

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Self-driven with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, design, or related field preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PDF software (Adobe), Canva, or other content creation tools
  • Must be flexible for the occasional weekend/ evening events
