Support Groups

Safe Haven support groups are a non-judgmental environment where survivors can feel free to share their stories.


  • Domestic Violence Support Group - Meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm-7:00pm and is open to the community.  Survivors participate in discussions on relevant topics centered on domestic violence, safety, or children and violence.   • Sexual Violence Support Group - Meets Monday evenings from 5:30pm-6:30pm.  This group is led by a licensed therapist and offers a supportive, confidential environment for survivors.  Childcare is provided.  Please call (419) 289-8085 to learn more about this group.

  • Strength In Peer Support (S.I.P.S) Group - Meets every Tuesday at 6pm and is for college-aged survivors of sexual assault, incest, rape, sexual abuse and marital rape. It is facilitated by trained advocates.  Please call (419) 289-8085 for more information.

  • Mohican Area Support Group - Provides a non-judgmental, safe and supportive place for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault to heal. This support group is facilitated by trained advocates and meets on Thursday at 12pm. Childcare is provided. Please call (419) 289-8085 for more information.
